ART FOR HEALTH SAKE: UNLOCKING YOUR CREATIVITY Dawn E. Miller Beginner level

Do you ever feel like something is holding your creativity captive? This class offers the chance to unlock your playful expressiveness by identifying and quieting your inner critic; the one who say’s “you can’t” or “aren’t good enough to” make art. A multi-modal approach will be used (drawing/ painting, mixed media, self-reflection through writing and facilitated discussions) with exercises to build creative confidence. Allow yourself the time to free-up your innerartist through play and creative exploration. No experience or expectation of pretty picture-making required.

MIXED MEDIA: FINDING YOUR ART Dawn E. Miller Beginner level

If you’ve always wanted to take an art class, but didn’t know where to start, this course is for you. You will be introduced to several different media: graphite, colored pencils, pastel, acrylics, watercolor and mixed-media/collage in a relaxed, fun and no-pressure setting. No drawing skills are necessary. This class is a great way to get started in art and discover which media are best suited to you.
